I am pleased to announce that release 6 of the phpfox album mod will be out soon. Taking into consideration the list of new features, improvements and other factors the price of this release will be $50.00. Here are some of the new key features you can look forward to. - Admin can determine the number of albums each user type gets to have.
- Users get to choose the picture which is used as an album cover.
- Users will have the option of setting a passwords for their albums.
- Users can upload up to 10 images at a time instead of 5.
We are also looking into the possibility of customizing album covers. |

We are working on a plugin for phpfox that will achieve the following goals. 1) Make it easier for developers to publish plugins for phpfox 2) Allow an admin to enable or disable any plugin 3) Allow users to choose which plugins appear in their profiles 4) Allow certain plugins to be independent of the phpfox version 5) Allow plugin developers to easily add options/preferences to the database pertaining to their mod 6) Provide a single common interface for maintaining all the options in #5 7) Allow for plugins to be installed using an uploaded zip file As soon as we have a final version of this mod. All our new mods will be based on this system. We are also considering extending this system to other social networking type applications. Discuss this article on the forums. (3 posts) |
